A calm, grounded space to work through what feels stuck

For anxiety, overthinking, burnout, relationship strain, and moments when something feels missing but hard to name.

Ben Vahabpour

Ben Vahabpour

I work with adults navigating anxiety, burnout, relationship challenges, and periods of transition or uncertainty.

Many people I work with describe feeling like they overthink everything, can’t switch their mind off, or sense that something important is missing in their life but can’t quite name it.

My approach is collaborative and grounded. Together, we slow things down, make sense of what’s happening, and work toward clarity, emotional steadiness, and meaningful change.

Approach

Sessions are open-ended and exploratory, with a balance of gentle reflection and clear direction. I aim to create a space that feels non-judgmental, grounded, and collaborative.

Clients often say they leave sessions feeling calmer and able to see things in a new light. We focus not just on understanding, but also on small, consistent shifts that lead to meaningful change over time.

A note about fit and level of care

This service is offered within the scope of a supervised student practicum. In some situations, a client’s needs may be better supported by a clinician or service with a higher level of specialization, authority, or crisis capacity.

We may need to decline or redirect requests involving legal matters (court, custody, probation), unstable psychiatric conditions, acute or ongoing risk of harm, severe substance use, active violence or abuse situations, forensic concerns, or cognitive limitations that significantly affect participation in counselling.

When concerns fall outside the appropriate scope of this setting, we will do our best to suggest other community-based options, including more experienced or specialized supports where available.

Simply Seen Counselling does not provide crisis or emergency services. If you are in immediate danger or need urgent support, please call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department.
